Spring 1755 New England

I am running a French and Indian Wars Campaign with friends at our local club.

The peaceful settlement Brunnendorf on Schoharie Creek in the British Colony of New York.
The first exploration of this area was 1711, German Palatines colonists from the Hudson Valley first settled the area in 1713. Sometime later the Blenheim Bridge was built.

This is the setting for our French and Indian Wars campaign, using Tomahawks and Muskets as our tabletop rules, Campaign rules will be loose and drawn up by the Umpire.

The idea is really to link the games and give them a little character.

As players paint more figures these will be incorporated, we're using a mix of Conquest , Galloping Major, Front Rank and Redoubt 28mm figures, the buildings in this game by 4Ground.

n.b. Brunnendorf on Schoharie Creek did exist, and is now the town of Schoharie in New York State. There was a New Blenheim Bridge, a covered bridge built in the mid 19th century so I figure there may have been an old bridge!
